ExoSkeleton by Mystikal0412
Project Log: Here
We welcome new modders to
bit-tech with open arms, and one such new member is Mystikal0412 who first posted his project at the very end of May. However, this was enough to make us look twice, as there's plenty of excellent craftsmanship on display here.
For a start, there's welding galore. Welding that never gets boring, as it's one of the few processed that enables you to genuinely make a case completely from scratch. Plus you don't get any blisters if you're watching someone else do it, which is a bonus. The tower case on which Mystikal0412 is working has some interesting details too.
Above we can see some of those first details. We think the metal tubes have now been ditched from the design, but they still look interesting nonetheless. We also got our first view of the case here, which appears to be fairly large and comes equipped with a PSU shroud.
One of the most eye-catching features we've seen anywhere this month is ExoSkeleton's storage bay. The orange light beneath the bare metal looks absolutely stunning, and we can't wait to see it fitted.
The case's motherboard tray is also highly unusual - we initially thought it was for extra support, but we doubt that strength will be an issue with the case's welded corners. There are no complaints about how it looks, though; it's a unique and eye-catching piece of work.
This is definitely one we'll be watching over the coming weeks. Head over to our
forum if you'd like to use one of your multiple votes this month on ExoSkeleton.
